John Sciberras B.A., B.Arch., A&CE., A.L.C.M

Born 19th April, 1951 at St. Paul's Bay. After receiving secondary
education at the Lyceum, he was awarded a scholarship to read Architecture,
at the University of Malta.
Active in a number of university student committees, he was approved
Chairman of the National Student Charities Campaign for two consecutive
years. Member of the Rent Regulation Board since 1979, he was nominated
to represent government on a number of boards and commissions, as
well as Chairman of the Valletta Rehabilitation Committee for 1997/1998.
He also represented the Government of Malta in a number of international
conferences. He started working as an architect at the Land Department
in 1975 and has occupied the post of Director General (Government
Property Division) since 1997.
He is also an Associate of the London College of Music and his
hobbies include reading, sports and music.
